About Nicky Middleton
Soft Tissue and Sports Massage Therapist
After attending the Oxford School of Sports Massage (OSSM) and qualifying at Level 5 in Soft Tissue Therapy I opened my clinic in Kidlington near Oxford.
Whilst at OSSM I trained in anatomy and physiology to be able to understand how the body moves to be able to deliver effective treatment to my clients.
Playing and being involved in a number of different sports including football, basketball, triathlon and golf I know how soft tissue injuries can affect your ability to train, perform and work at your best. I believe that Sports Massage and other Soft Tissue Therapy techniques applied with specific rehabilitation exercises can improve your mobility and get you performing at your best whether that is for your favourite sport, at work, home or an essential shopping trip.
I have enjoyed working with Oxford University Varsity rugby team, Oxford University Women’s Lightweight Rowing Club, Abingdon United FC, alongside individual sportspeople and the general public. In 2019 I was part of a team of therapists who provided sports massage for the NSPCC at the London Marathon. I also regularly attend courses to continue to develop my skills and keep up with industry developments to be able to provide good, effective treatment for all my clients.
