Probably late 19th Century despite earlier style. Excellent condition featuring an eagle and crown surrounded by ermine. The yellow ribbons for attaching the banner to a pole are later additions. Possibly a trumpet or bugle tabard which would have been suspended from an instrument. Overall size is 14 inches by 12 inches, not including 2 inch fringe on three sides.
