Folk Art Painted Blanket Box with Barn Star Design stool the lower shelf 31This is a useful large blanket box that dates to the first half of the 20th Century. The box is made of solid pine and is quite wide and deep and fairly low. It could be used at the foot of a bed for storing blankets and clothes, or perhaps in a lounge as a coffee table with hidden storage. The box has a large lift up lid which is fitted with two chains and the interior is clean and unpainted. The base is set on castors making it easy to move about.
