This little wooden pot has a barrel form, wider through the middle, tapering down to a steady base, with fine horizontal ridges turned into the surface and a warm brown patina that has deepened over years of use. Dark tones run through the grain where the wood has aged most. A stem or two of dried foliage. A single branch. Left completely empty on a shelf. It doesn't need much to look right.
