The charm features a hooked top with a gold plated bale attached

The snake is enamelled in black on a silver gilt base

The locket is engraved with the name 'Paul De Bryk' on its front and is marked 'Argent' (silver) on its base

Antique Bacchus Grape & Cherub 'HUSH' Intaglio Seal Victorian The lack of phrasing leavesA comical and rather unusual antique seal most likely inspired by Bacchus, the roman god of wine, revelry, fertility and theatre. The seal features a black intaglio carved with a little putto cherub ringing a bell with the contradictaory phrase 'HUSH' carved below. The metal casing the intaglio sits in features cascading bunches of grapes, a beautiful frame design I have never seen before. There is a small split to the metal frame around the seal
